This lake is found close to the Balbanera Church, the railway line passes along its banks. It is 2.5km long and 1km wide. It supports a diverse number of native bird species and innumerable colourful fish. Around the lake you can observe local houses and huts of the area.
The Colta Lake is situated 20 minutes from the city.
